An experimental display typeface
Tempeh is my first foray into type design! It is available in two weights: monoline and high contrast.
The monoline is thin and simple, serving as a sort of x-ray of the high contrast face. The high-contrast has thicker strokes and more personality.
This typeface is open and funky, experimental and clean. It’s fun and lighthearted while still being applicable to refined layouts. It’s character comes from the oddball contrast– weight on the horizontal strokes rather than the verticals.
This typeface is created for scenarios where a high-impact yet simple display face is appropriate. It’s suitable for both print and web.
