Providing the community with a means to recycle their plastic waste into something with purpose.
Plasticity is a proof-of-concept for a community center with upcycling equipment, education, and workspaces. It is designed to be embedded in the town center, to capture residents’ interest, and to ultimately create a town that is more aware of the part they play in keeping plastic out of landfills.
We want to provide a space for creatives to experiment with this unique and sustainable way to make, as well as educate the public about what they ’re missing!

As a non-profit, the goal is education and facilitation of sustainable upcycling– not to make money. The inspiration for this project is Dave Hakkens' company, Precious Plastic.
